The 11th Biobased Conference and Exhibition will grandly kick off in Shanghai on May 20-22, 2026. The results of the highly valuable 2026 (4th) DT New Leaf Award in the industry have been officially announced. Shandong Chambroad Sinopoly. (referred to as "Chambroad Sinopoly") and Beijing University of Chemical Technology jointly developed bio based itaconic acid ester rubber, which has won the authoritative honor known as the "Oscar" of the bio based industry - the "Innovative Materials Award" of the New Leaf Award. This industry benchmark honor demonstrates the strong leading strength of Chambroad Sinopoly in the field of green new material research and industrialization.

The bio based itaconic acid ester rubber product that won this award is a landmark innovative achievement of Chambroad Sinopoly's deep cultivation of the green rubber track. The product takes straw, corncob and other non grain renewable biomass as the core raw materials, innovatively integrates synthetic biological technology and original low-temperature lotion polymerization process, and breaks through many technical problems such as macromolecular design, precise polymerization control, etc. This product can achieve personalized control of bio-based carbon content, and has excellent core performance in terms of wet and slippery resistance, wear resistance, etc. Its comprehensive indicators have reached the international leading level. The company has completed the world's first 1000 ton demonstration production line, and the 10000 ton industrialization project has been approved and accelerated for construction, laying a foundation for the green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading of the rubber industry.

At the conference, Wang Hao, the head of the Biobased Rubber Division of Chambroad Sinopoly, delivered a special report titled "Development and Industrial Application of High Performance Biobased Itaconate Rubber Products". The report deeply analyzes the core technology system of non grain biomass resource utilization, low-temperature lotion polymerization, precision polymerization regulation, and comprehensively analyzes the application value and market potential of products in green tires, high-end shoe materials, protective gloves and other fields. Chambroad Sinopoly's hard core technology accumulation and deep industrial cultivation layout have won high recognition and extensive recognition from industry colleagues.

During the exhibition, Chambroad Sinopoly showcased its bio based itaconic acid ester rubber and downstream terminal application products at the booth, showcasing the technology and industrialization achievements of self-developed non grain bio based rubber. This product effectively revitalizes agricultural waste resources, turns waste into treasure, and has significant sustainable advantages. Compared to traditional rubber, effectively breaking through the bottleneck of industry development, the completion of a 10000 ton production line will help promote the advancement of the bio based rubber industry towards scale and high-end direction.
