
In May 2026, the 18th China International Battery Fair & Conference (CIBF 2026) grandly opened at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. CIBF 2026 delivered a clear signal: the industry has bid farewell to low-price internal competition and fully entered a new stage featuring technological competition and value growth. Ultra-large capacity, ultra-long cycle life, ultra-low cost and long-duration energy storage stand as the four core directions for lithium battery technology iteration, with intensive debuts of key technologies including solid-state battery electrolytes, dry electrodes, high-nickel ternary materials and silicon-based anodes. Against such a backdrop, the material solutions brought by Chambroad this time carry distinct targeted industrial value.
At this exhibition, the new energy battery material division under Chambroad made its integrated debut at CIBF for the first time. Under the theme "Gel Unites Strength, Innovation Shapes the Future", the Group showcased a full-chain, green and intelligent integrated battery material solution together with its specialized subsidiaries including Chambroad, Jufang New Materials, Moyuan Carbon Materials and Chambroad Research Institute, supplying customers with auxiliary battery material solutions covering dispersants, anode coke, separator coating slurries, thermal conductive silicone and more.

▍ HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)
On the afternoon of May 13, Li Yunxue, Application Engineer of Chambroad Sinopoly , delivered a keynote speech titled Application Prospect of Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber in New Energy Batteries. Based on industrial development background and market demands, the speech systematically introduced the company’s project progress and breakthroughs in core bottleneck technologies, with focused elaboration on the performance advantages of HNBR as cathode dispersants and binders. It fully demonstrated Chambroad ’s strategic layout and innovative strength to empower the new energy industry with new material technologies and address industry pain points.

HNBR was the flagship product highlighted at the exhibition, perfectly aligning with the industry trends showcased at CIBF: accelerated industrialization of solid-state batteries, booming energy storage scenarios, high-voltage fast charging, high energy density and high voltage platforms. Chambroad ’s HNBR dispersant grades deliver highly efficient dispersion of conductive agents such as carbon nanotubes (CNTs), markedly enhancing slurry stability and uniformity and boosting charge transfer kinetics, with outstanding performance in high-rate charge-discharge and cycle life tests. Meanwhile, featuring both polar structure and elastic properties, HNBR improves the uniform dispersion of active materials and strengthens electrode adhesion when used as dispersants or binders. It has the potential to partially replace PVDF systems, enabling dual optimization of performance and cost.

"Safety" emerged as another major trend at the show, and Chambroad ’s nano-material technology provides a robust solution to lift lithium battery separator safety. Chambroad Jufang New Materials holds the world’s exclusive patented water-based nano-aramid technology, which enables the production of water-based coating slurries and greatly lowers the production threshold and costs of coated separators. Aramid coating not only improves separator heat resistance and mechanical strength but also effectively inhibits lithium dendrite growth, extending battery cycle life and enhancing fast-charging safety. ▍ Butyl Rubber
Butyl rubber serves as the second safety line for batteries developed by Chambroad Sinopoly . Renowned for ultra-high air tightness, excellent chemical resistance and aging resistance, it delivers reliable material support for sealing, insulation and safety protection of battery systems, acting as a vital guarantee for long-term safe operation of power batteries.
▍ Special Coke for Anodes
Moyuan Carbon Materials ensures stable and controllable supply of anode coke raw materials supported by self-owned processing facilities, guaranteeing consistent quality and on-time delivery. Backed by profound R&D capabilities, it supports flexible customized production to meet diverse application scenarios.
▍ Thermal Conductive Silicone
High temperature resistance and thermal conductivity form the third safety barrier for batteries. Chambroad thermal conductive silicone integrates comprehensive merits including high thermal conductivity, low impedance, insulation and voltage resistance, shock absorption, corrosion resistance, low volatilization and low VOC. It operates stably over a wide temperature range of -50°C to 200°C, fully meeting the stringent operating conditions of power and energy storage batteries.
